- May Maui Recovery PR Marketing highlights include:
- As part of our Maui marketing efforts to rebuild travel demand from the U.S. market, HVCB/MVCB was a sponsor for the Healdsburg Food & Wine Experience held in Sonoma County, CA, May 16 – 19, where Maui-themed events/spaces were created to welcome guests and to share the aloha of Maui. A number of HVCB/MVCB partners joined us for the program including Four Seasons Resort Maui, Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui Brewing Company, Ocean Organic Vodka, Hawaiʻi Farm Project (Maui Pineapple Tour & Maui Chocolate Tour), Paradise Now Hawaiʻi . The event included a Vintners Plaza Grand Tasting, “Maui at the Matheson” Dinner and Magnum Party that featured a live auction with Guy Fieri and raised over $76K for the Maui Strong Fund.
- To show our aloha for Sonoma County, the team participated in a mālama activity with Farm to Pantry.
- While in the Bay area, HVCB/MVCB also met with media in San Francisco to share our Maui updates including Kim Westerman, Forbes; Leilani LaBong, Virtuoso; and Michelle Baran, AFAR.
- Maui will continue to work with media to share our “Maui is Open” messaging through individual media visits including USA Today, Golf Vacations Magazine, The Vegetarian Tourist and Elevation Outdoors Magazine, and Orange County Register, Seattle Refined.
