Public Relations Updates:

  • MVCB participated in the HTA Foundational Technical Assistance Program “Connecting with/within the Maui Visitor Industry” Workshops and Resource Fair, July 29 – 30, at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center

  • To recognize the 1-year anniversary of the August 8th Maui Wildfires, the Conty of Maui set up  Kuhinia Maui, which encompassed a series of remembrance events. MVCB participated in the Paddle Out on August 8 and the Ka Malu ʻUlu Lele performance on August 10. Sherry Duong was interviewed at the Paddle Out event on the Hawaiʻi News Now morning show and shared the message that Maui is welcoming visitors:  Video Link

  • August Media coverage for Maui Nui continued to encourage travel to our islands.  Highlights include:

  • Upcoming Highlights:

  • MVCB extended our aloha and mahalo at the ASTA Travel Masters lūʻau event at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa on August 21.
  • MVCB participated in the HTA USA Sales Blitz, which will have stops in Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA; and Orlando, FL: August 19 - 23
