Travel Trade on Kaua‘i:
November 16 – 22, Kaua‘i Visitors Bureau (KVB) and O‘ahu Visitors Bureau partnered with the Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania (HTO) and Hawaiian Airlines with a Travel Trade FAM of 10 travel advisors from New Zealand and Australia. Their journey through Kaua‘i began with an island presentation by KVB, cultural education at the Kaua‘i Museum by Director Chucky Boy Chock, Rum Safari, Allerton Sunset Tour, Kauaʻi Tasting Food Tour, and visited the Waimea Canyon. Mahalo to our partners, Outrigger Kaua‘i Beach Resort for accommodations and hosting breakfast, and the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort for hosting lunch.
Public Relations Events on Kaua‘i:
KVB hosted two travel writers through individual media visits.
November 2 – 5, travel writer and blogger Angie Orth focused on the North Shore of Kaua‘i and visited Hā‘ena State Park, stayed at the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay and hiked the Kalalau Trail.
November 7 – 12, STYLE Magazine’s editor-in-chief, Megan Lim, focused on four perfect days on Kaua‘i – highlighting family-friendly things to do. Megan and her family stayed at the Kōloa Landing Resort at Po‘ipū, enjoyed Lū‘au Kalamakū and the Kauaʻi Plantation Railway at Kilohana Plantation, strolled through the National Tropical Botanical Gardens, and went on a sightseeing adventure to Waimea Canyon and Koke‘e State Park.
November 16 – 22, HTO and KVB hosted an influencer and a photographer from New Zealand for an Infinite Experiences FAM focusing on Kaua‘i’s rich culture and exciting adventures while encouraging content creators to explore thoughtfully. They experienced the Nāpali Coast with Captain Andy’s, ziplined with Outfitters Kaua‘i, ATV riding with Kīpū Ranch Adventures, sightseeing the Waimea Canyon, mountain tubing with Kaua‘i Back Country Adventures, enjoyed the Rum Safari, and flew with Jack Harters Helicopters to experience the aerial perspective of Kaua‘i.
