65th Waimea Twilight Christmas Parade, Saturday December 6th 6:00pm-8:00pm
Join us at the 65th Waimea Twilight Christmas Parade on Saturday, 6 Dec 2025 @ 6PM. This year’s theme is A Waimea Christmas Birthday Celebration.
Stop by the Keck Observatory booth for hot cocoa. Parade route same as last year. It will begin with units leaving Waimea Park onto Kawaihae Road (across from Habitat For Humanity’s RESTORE), turning left onto Kawaihae Road, then right onto Lindsey Road to main intersection. Parade will turn left onto Mamalahoa Hwy (Hwy 19), pass thru town center, turn right on Pukalani, right on Ala ‘Ohia and conclude at the Kalani Schutte Waimea District Park.
Spectators asked to please stay on the sidewalk or grass and off the roadway, no open fires/barbecues/hibachis to prevent wildfire, and please do not throw candy from parade units – for everyone’s safety!

Kokua Kailua Village Stroll, 7 December, 1:00pm-6:00pm
Kokua Kailua, the popular monthly village stroll on Alii Drive, happens one Sunday each month from 1 pm to 6 pm. Kona’s Historic Kailua Village closes to vehicular traffic and becomes a festive, pedestrian-only outdoor marketplace that makes for a fun family-friendly day. Leashed dogs are welcome to stroll too.
Kokua Kailua stretches from Kailua Pier through Historic Kailua Village to Hualalai Road. Highlights include over 100 vendor booths showcasing the work of local artisans and crafters, musicians, and merchants offering a fantastic shopping experience and delicious dining options.

27th Annual Music & Light Festival – Holualoa Village, 6 December, 5:30 PM–8:30 PM
Experience the magic of the holidays as Holualoa Village transforms into a festive wonderland from the historic Kona Hotel to the old Holualoa Library. Enjoy twinkling lights, live holiday music, treats, and special events at local galleries and shops.
