Island of Hawai‘i Events and Festivals RFP

With funding provided by the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority, the Island of Hawai‘i Visitors Bureau (IHVB) is seeking proposals for Hawai‘i Island festivals and events occurring between February 16 and April 30, 2023. An RFP will be issued later this year for its Community Enrichment Programs (CEP) beyond April.

The festival or event must be a licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to be considered. View the full request for proposal at the link below.

We recognize the use of linguistic markings of the (modern) Hawaiian language including the ʻokina [‘] or glottal stop and the kahakō [ō] or macron (e.g., in place names of Hawaiʻi such as Lānaʻi). We acknowledge that individual businesses listed on this site may not use the ʻokina or kahakō, but we recognize the importance of using these markings to preserve the indigenous language and culture of Hawaiʻi and use them in all other forms of communications.
