Top Ten Things To Do Once You Log in to the New MemberNet

Now that the new MemberNet is live, here are a few things that you should do to make sure that all of your content is complete and up to date.

  1. Upload your four images in Modify Web Listings. Where possible, your former large image was imported to the new system, but it’s not the proper size and does not allow for links to your additional services.

  2. The Travel Professional’s Guide will be going to press in early February. You should be sure to login and complete the information requested in the Modify Publications section.

  3. Interested in e-marketing opportunities? Take a look at the links in the Manage Ad Content section to see the remaining availability for this year. Contact Jerry Ishibashi at (808) 924-0230 or jishibashi@hvcb.org for more information or to sign up.

  4. Available to activity, golf, dining and shopping members, the E Komo Mai Welcome Guidebook program is live right now. If you have not submitted your four separate offers, you’re missing an opportunity to place your product or service in front of pre-arrival visitors, while they’re still in the planning stages of their trip. Visit the Manage Offers section to add them.

  5. The Room Info section is brand new, so your information is probably blank. The Corporate Meetings & Incentives Department (CMI) will need this information to respond to online requests for proposal (RFPs) once their online system goes live.

  6. Also be sure to complete the Modify Facility Info section to assist the CMI department in the generation of leads.

  7. You’ve had online access to keep your marketing content up to date, but your administrative contact information may not be as fresh. Take a look at your Member Details section to be sure that all of the HVCB departments and Island Chapters have access to your most current information.

  8. If you want your company to be listed on the new Google maps feature on www.gohawaii.com, be sure to login and provide your physical address in the Modify Addresses section. If you do not wish to be included on the maps, simply delete your physical address.

  9. Check your staff contact list in Modify Contacts to make sure that it contains those individuals who you want to be kept informed of HVCB news and opportunities. Also check their contact information, particularly email addresses, since that’s the most common form of communication. If you would like to assign other staff the ability to maintain certain sections of your record, you can do so in the Permissions area of the Modify Contacts section.

  10. Once your main record is complete and up to date, use the Change Active Member function to navigate to any other records under your control and make sure they’re also ready for the updated website.
